- "We / Us / Our"
- Bayu Permata, operating at 235 Jalan Klang Lama, 58000 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "You / User / Participant"
- Any individual who accesses our website, submits an enquiry, or enrols in one of our programmes.
- "Service"
- The financial education programmes, materials, and facilitation offered by Bayu Permata, whether delivered in person or in small group format.
- "Content"
- All materials, documents, exercises, written notes, and other resources provided as part of any programme.
- "Website"
- The Bayu Permata website accessible at https://bayupermata.biz and all associated pages.
Acceptance of Terms
By browsing our website, submitting an enquiry form, or confirming enrolment in any Bayu Permata programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- If you are enrolling on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they accept these terms.
- If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with enrolment and contact us to discuss your concerns.
Service Description
Bayu Permata offers structured financial education programmes for adults at or approaching their forties and fifties. Our current programme offerings are:
The Calm Starting Point
RM 530A three-week introductory programme covering household finances, present cash flow, and current holdings. Two evenings per week, small group format.
Considered Investing After Forty
RM 1,790An eight-week investment foundations course. Class size capped at fifteen participants. Covers asset fundamentals, EPF function, unit trusts, and ETFs.
Considered Pre-Retirement Engagement
RM 2,610A five-month mentor-led programme for those five to ten years from retirement. Monthly private sessions with midway review and written closing summary.
Programme schedules, availability, and delivery format are subject to change. We will communicate any material changes to confirmed participants in advance.
Enrolment & Participation
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable programme fee and written confirmation from Bayu Permata.
4.1 Enrolment Process
- Enquiries may be submitted via the contact form on our website or by telephone.
- We will respond within two to three business days to discuss suitability and programme timing.
- A place is held only upon receipt of full payment or an agreed deposit arrangement in writing.
4.2 Attendance
- Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. We ask that you notify us in advance if you are unable to attend a particular session.
- Missed sessions are not generally made up individually, though facilitators may provide a brief written summary upon request.
4.3 Completion
A written summary or closing document is provided at the conclusion of the Considered Pre-Retirement Engagement programme. Certificates of participation may be issued upon request and are subject to satisfactory attendance.
User Responsibilities
As a participant and user of our website, you agree to conduct yourself with consideration toward other participants and our facilitators.
5.1 Acceptable Use
- Use the website and programme materials for their intended educational purpose only.
- Provide accurate and complete information during the enrolment process.
- Treat fellow participants and facilitators with respect in all interactions.
5.2 Prohibited Activities
- Recording, reproducing, or distributing session content, materials, or exercises without prior written permission.
- Sharing programme materials with individuals outside the enrolled group.
- Using any part of our website or materials for commercial reproduction or resale.
- Attempting to access, interfere with, or disrupt any part of our website's technical infrastructure.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website and within our programmes โ including written materials, exercises, frameworks, session outlines, and visual presentations โ belongs to Bayu Permata or its licensors and is protected under applicable Malaysian intellectual property law.
- We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use materials provided as part of your enrolled programme for your own learning and reference.
- This licence does not permit reproduction, redistribution, adaptation, or commercial use of any materials.
- The Bayu Permata name and any associated marks may not be used without our express written consent.
Payment & Fees
7.1 Programme Fees
All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current programme fees are as stated on our website and in your enrolment confirmation.
7.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as communicated at the time of enrolment. Full details will be provided in your enrolment confirmation.
7.3 Refund Policy
- Cancellations notified more than fourteen calendar days before programme commencement are eligible for a full refund, less any administrative processing costs.
- Cancellations within fourteen days of the programme start date are not eligible for a cash refund, but a transfer to a future programme cohort may be considered at our discretion.
- If Bayu Permata cancels or postpones a programme, participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to the next available cohort.

Educational Purpose Only: The content delivered in all Bayu Permata programmes is intended purely for general educational purposes. It does not constitute regulated financial advice, investment advice, or any form of licensed financial service.

- We do not represent that participation in any programme will produce a specific financial outcome. Individual results depend on personal circumstances, decisions, and conditions outside our control.
- All website content and programme materials are provided in good faith, but we do not warrant that they are complete, accurate, or current in all respects at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Malaysian law, Bayu Permata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or participation in our programmes.
- In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the programme fee paid by you in connection with the specific programme giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on programme content for specific investment or financial decisions.
- We are not liable for any failure to perform obligations under these terms caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, utility failures, or public health circumstances.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bayu Permata, its facilitators, and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our materials, or any conduct that causes harm to another participant or to Bayu Permata's reputation.
Termination
Either party may end the participation arrangement under the following circumstances.
11.1 By Participant
You may withdraw from a programme by providing written notice. Refund eligibility is governed by the payment terms in Section 7.
11.2 By Bayu Permata
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme if their conduct substantially disrupts other participants or is in material breach of these terms. In such cases, no refund will be due unless we determine otherwise at our discretion.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your licence to use programme materials ceases. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve concerns informally and in good faith before any formal proceeding becomes necessary.
12.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a concern, please contact us in writing at [email protected]. We will make a genuine effort to respond within ten business days and reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
12.2 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia in relation to any dispute arising under this Agreement.
12.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with your enrolment confirmation, constitute the complete agreement between you and Bayu Permata regarding the subject matter herein.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right under these terms on a given occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that right.
Assignment
You may not assign your participation rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business transfer or reorganisation.
Notices
Formal notices under this Agreement should be sent in writing to [email protected] or to our registered address.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our programmes, legal requirements, or operational practice.
- Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised terms on this page with an updated effective date.
- For active programme participants, we will provide direct notice of any changes that materially affect your enrolment.
- Continued use of our website after the posted effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
